Transcription
of legends
Legends are engraved on
glass pieces and "transcripted" to medias
such as photo-papers through light set on it.
This process is a metaphor to differences between cultures,
where the contents of a legend, for instance, slightly
change when translated to another language, just like
in the works presented in this exhibition by Edison
Osorio Zapata: the manuscripts look differently when
filtered by glass and printed on different medias.
