■ About the artist

Masaki Hirano

Born 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. He has presented "Down the Road of Life", "Window" in Eastern Timor, "Holes", "Forest in Tasmania" from "Whereabouts of human part-2 Cuban people" down. All of his works are dealing with social problems and also very artistic photo-reportages.
We Promo-Arte Gallery have collected his works taken in Bosnia and Herzegovina featuring on holes made by explosion of bullets. "HOLES" Exhibition is also known as a symbol image of "Photography Festival of Berlin 2005".
