■About the artists

Abel Barroso(Cuba)
Born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1971. Graduated from Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas in 1990 and Instituto Superior de Arte in 1995. He started his activities as an artist when he studied in National Art Institute of Cuba. He participated in Biennale of Havana in Cuba and held solo exhibitions in national institution such as Wifredo Lam center or visual art development center and also in Germany, Canada, US etc...

Vera de Rivales(Venezuela)
Born in Paris of Russian and Venezuelan descent, Vera de Rivales studied in the Paris Art School with masters from Paris's Beaux-Arts School, Mr Quincy and Mr Lancelin.
History of Art in Louvre's school. She contributed her art activities in Paris and Caracas (capital of Colombia) during 1976-1996). She transferred to Miami to contribute her works during 1996-2003. In 2003, she went back to Paris and keeps her atelier in Douy.

1955 Born in Buenos Aires in Argentine
1979 Graduated from Prilidiano Pueyrredon Received the title of professor of institute of National University of Art in 1978. Started activities as artist in 1979. James Kudo(Brazil)
1967 Born in Sao Paulo in Brazil
He transferred to Sao Paulo when he was sixteen years old. As he was impressed when he visited Museum of Art of San Paulo (MASP), he entered in Art University of San Paulo and later studied in art student league(New York). Now he is enegetic on his activities mainly in Sao Paulo, and in the other cities such as Tokyo, New York, Nuremberg (Germany) and Canada. He is one of the most famous modern contemporary artists in Brazil.

Jose Fors(Mexico)
1958 Born in Havana, Cuba,
1960 Moved to the United States.
1967 Traveled to Mexico, settling first in Guadalajara and later in Mexico City.
1976 Returned to Miami, Florida for three years to study anatomical drawing
with Roberto Martinez. His studies completed, he returned to Guadalajara,
Mexico, where he lives today.
1996 He officially became a Mexican resident.

Nelson Dominguez(Cuba)
1947 Born in Santiago de Cuba
1970 Graduated from Cubanacan National Art School.
1970-85 Professor and head of thePainting Department of the College of Arts (ISA) and faculty member of its Engraving Department.
Member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and of the International Association of Plastic Artists (AIAP).
Was presented with the National Cultural award and the Alejo Carpentier award.

Mamani Mamani(Bolivia)
Bolivia is a landlocked country abundant in natural resources such as landscape of Titicaca Lake, the remains of Tiwanaku, Uyuni Salt Lake and Carnaval in Oruro.
He was born in Cochabamba in 1962. His works are known as a style which takes root in Indian history. His simple representational expression is so sensitive. His works consists of various vivid colors reflected from the Andes Mountains and nature, and also often are compared with Rufino Tamayo in Mexico.
