Sanrda Ramos

Sandra Ramos (Cuba)

Sandra Ramos was born in the Havana, where she studies Fine Arts graduating of the Higher Institute of Arts of Cuba in 1993. Her works that integrate multiplicity of techniques as installation, painting, engraving and drawing, are based on the recovery of a social and individual memory, linked to the difficulties of the daily life in Cuba and to subjects as solitude, emigration, and the political manipulation of the history and the memory.

Mattress Factory, Pittsburg; Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown; Barbican Center in London; Civitella Ranieri Foundation Italy.
