Ana M. Hoyos (Colombia)

Ana Mercedes Hoyos is one of the most outstanding figures in present day Colombian art. Her work has been the subject of three previous book s, received a wide critical commentary and figured in publications like Art News, Newsweek, Time and Art in America.


Eduardo Roca(Choco) (Cuba)

He is liked with nickname "Choco" and developped print technique of collagraph in all Cuba. When he visited Angola as a professor of Art, he recognized his roots in Africa. He awarded the 1st prize in Printing contest of Orense and also an honor prize in Print biennale of Latin American and Carribean.
Awarded the great prize in International Printing Triennale of Kochi (Japan)

  Francisco Mejia- Guinand (Colombia)

1964 Born in Bogota, Colombia. The eldest son of Francisco Mejia Gomez and Gladys Guinard Salazar.
1983 Enters the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota.
1986 Realizes his first work, a mural for the private residence of the Jesuit priests in Bogota.
1999 Holds his first solo exhibition in the Galeria Diners in Bogota.
2000 Participates in the collective shows “Exordio” (Exordium) at the Galeria Diners, Bogota and the Museo de Arte Moderno, Bucaramanga, and “Grandes Artistas en Pequeño”(Big Artists in a small format), in the Galeria Diners, Bogota.
2001 Participates in the show “La Nueva Pintura Colombiana” ( New Colombian Painting), a traveling exhibition organized by the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations and shown in the seat of Unesco in Paris; the Gallery of the National Theater at the Museum of Art of Constanta, Romania; and the Cultural Center of the Mayoralty of Athens, Greece. Two of his large-format works become part of the collection of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations.
Horacio Carrena (Argentine)

Born in Buenos Aires of Argentina in 1955. Received the professor of institute of National University of Art in 1978. Started activities as artist in 1979. Principal history for International competition : The 3rd Carribean and Latin American International Art biennial exhibition(2007), The prize of the 3rd Contemporary Art of Antonio Guarda(2006)

Manuel Velazquez(Mexico)

Manuel Velázquez nace el 26 de junio de 1968 en Tuxtla Gutiérrez Chiapas. Estudió pintura y dibujo en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Chiapas, es Licenciado en Artes por la Universidad Veracruzana, Maestro en Estudios de Arte por la Universidad Iberoamericana y Candidato a Maestro en Artes Visuales por la UNAM. Cuenta con diversas exposiciones individuales y colectivas en México, Bélgica, Canadá, Estados Unidos, Austria, Serbia, Japón, Eslovaquia, Italia, Holanda, Guatemala, Cuba, Argentina, Paraguay y Chile. Fue director de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas del Instituto de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, director fundador del Jardín de las Esculturas de Xalapa, del Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura. Es Catedrático de la Facultad de Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Veracruzana. Vive y trabaja en Xalapa, Veracruz.

Educated in Univerysity of Art of San Paulo in 1967. His works are characterized by the tinge of plaster yellow and light and shade of black. Opened his own exhibition and also participated in group exhibitions in Nuremberg, New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo. He is one of the most famous Brazilian modern artists.
Vera de Rivales (Venezuela)

Born in Paris of Russian and Venezuelan descent, Vera de Rivales studied in the Paris Art School with masters from Paris's Beaux-Arts School, Mr Quincy and Mr Lancelin.
History of Art in Louvre's school. She contributed her art activities in Paris and Caracas (capital of Colombia) during 1976-1996). She transferred to Miami to contribute her works during 1996-2003. In 2003, she went back to Paris and keeps her atelier in Douy.
  Hiraku Sato (Japan)

He is pursueing a root of life force for art activities after being shocked by "Stubbornness" of Yuichi Inoue. He creates the best one in his life thinking it is the last work he wrote before his death.

  Arturo Berned (Spain)

Madrid, Spain, 1966.
During his student years he was granted several scholarships which he enjoyed in London, Turin and Oxford. He took his first professional steps while living in these cities, which were later to have a clear influence on his creative process.
As an architect he has carried out his professional activity mainly in Mexico, England, Italy and Spain.
Peter Wayne Lewis (Jamaica)

Chairman of Fine Arts 2d-Painting and Printmaking and Professor of Painting at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Ma. Was born in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies and immigrated to the USA in 1962 and made his home in Sacramento, California. He became a US Naturalized Citizen in 1983 and received his Masters of Arts Degree in painting in 1979 from San Jose State University California. He currently resides in South Orange, New Jersey, Boston, Massachusetts, and Beijing, China.
