ブラジル日本移民100周年を迎える2008年。
サンパウロの若手作家を代表する、在ブラジル日系画家ジェームズ・クドーを招き、30点に及ぶ新作品展を開催致します。

ジェームズ・クドーは、ブラジルのサンパウロを拠点に、東京、ニューヨーク、ドイツ、カナダなど世界的に活躍する、ブラジルを代表する若手日系人画家ですが、日系3世として、ブラジルの文化に染まりつつも、日本のルーツに誇りを持ちながら、繊細な色彩や線で作家の幼いころの内面を表現しています。

Promo-Arte will be holding a special solo exhibition of Brazilian artist James Kudo. We are proud to announce that this event will be delivered to celebrate the long relationship that Promo-Arte has developed with Brazilian artist with Japanese descent. Most importantly, this event will manifest and praise the 100th anniversary between the two nations.
